The philosophy of 1979WINES is built on three years of research into both wine and pine resin, including a patented sustainable resin-harvesting method. This innovative approach allows us to explore and express the distinctive aromatic identity of different pine forests with exceptional precision.

From this research comes the concept of Meta Retsina — a new interpretation of Retsina in which terroir extends beyond the vineyard. The character of the wine is shaped not only by the grapes and their place of origin, but also by the origin and unique identity of the resin itself.
