JIMA Winery
Premium Greek Wines & Indigenous Epirus Grape Varieties
JIMA Winery is a distinguished family-owned boutique winery located in Kalomodia, near Arta, in the beautiful region of Epirus, Northwestern Greece. Established by passionate winemaker and oenologist Panos Jimas and his wife Kristy Karagiannidou, the winery began its journey in 2013 with the planting of its first vineyards near the Ambracian Gulf. Combining modern winemaking expertise with a deep respect for nature and regional traditions, JIMA Winery specializes in premium wines that express the remarkable diversity of the Epirus terroir. Its carefully managed vineyards extend across three distinctive wine-growing areas, including the Ambracian Gulf, Zitsa, and Konitsa, cultivating indigenous Greek grape varieties such as Debina, Vlahiko, and Vertzami alongside international varieties including Merlot and Cabernet Franc. With a strong commitment to sustainable viticulture, innovation, and exceptional quality, JIMA Winery creates elegant and expressive wines that celebrate the authenticity, natural beauty, and unique winemaking potential of Northern Greece.
