Agricultural Cooperative of Chalastra Medium Grain Rice 500g is a high-quality Greek white medium grain rice produced in Chalastra, one of Greece’s most important rice-growing regions. The Agricultural Cooperative of Chalastra was founded in 1917 and today brings together around 500 members, supporting local rice production while supplying both the Greek and international markets.

Made from 100% rice, this medium grain variety has a tender texture and versatile character, making it ideal for everyday cooking. It is especially suitable for pilaf, stuffed vegetables, soups, casseroles and traditional Greek dishes where a soft yet satisfying rice texture is desired.

The Cooperative combines generations of agricultural experience with modern technical support and quality-control systems. It currently manages approximately 40,000 tonnes of rice annually and operates under internationally recognised food-safety standards.
